Holiday Swim Courses

Welcome to our Learn to Swim programme

Our intensive courses are ideal for introducing non-swimmers to the water or helping swimmers improve their current skills.

We offer intensive courses—available as group or private sessions—during school holidays:

Choose from 3 or 4 day course and a select your preferred time – please do book early to secure your ideal slot.

We offer classes for all levels—from complete beginners to advanced swimmers—starting from age 4 (children aged 3.5 may also be considered).

Group sizes are kept small to ensure more personalised attention: a maximum of 4–6 children per class (4 for Ducklings). Early stage groups are additionally supported by a swimming assistant, allowing instructors to focus on each child’s individual progress.

In addition to group lessons, we also offer private 1:1 and 1:2 sessions.

Lesson durations are 30 minutes for early stages (Ducklings and Stages 1–5), and 45 minutes for Stages 6 and 7+.

Each class is 30 minutes long.

Please note: Intensive courses at Heath Lodge Pool (private residence) are limited to 3 swimmers per group due to pool size. Group and private (individual or paired) lessons are suitable for: Ducklings, Stage 1/2 mixed, Stage 2/3 mixed, Stage 3/4a and older beginners.

We offer private one-to-one or paired classes across our term time, school holiday courses, and through home visit swimming lessons.
